The long-awaited Harris Teeter supermarket anchoring the Shops at Canton Crossing will open April 8, the chain said Thursday.
Furniture retailer Arhaus and menswear chain Jos. A. Bank Clothiers also announced one new area store each on Thursday.
Harris Teeter plans an opening ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8 with a sampling event to follow.
The Canton location is the 11th Harris Teeter in Maryland. The chain also has stores at McHenry Row in Locust Point, Ellicott City, Columbia and Fulton.
The sprawling $105 million Canton Crossing center on Boston Street features 30 shops and restaurants and is anchored by a Target.
Arhaus said Thursday it will open April 4 at The Mall in Columbia. The furniture retailer will showcase "lifestyle vignettes" of handcrafted furniture and accessories.
And on Thursday, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers opened a new store in Pikesville, one of four new locations including two in California and one in New Jersey. The new Pikesville Jos. Bank store is located at The Creative Center at 1848 Reisterstown Road.
