Get ready, teens and 'tweens, Five Below is looking for you in Canton.
The retailer will open Friday at The Shops at Canton Crossing, becoming the latest offering in the mix of stores and restaurants at the sprawling center on Boston Street. The center officially opened for business Tuesday.
About two-thirds of the center's 30 shops and restaurants have opened so far, including anchor Target, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Ulta Beauty, Loft and Vitamin Shoppe. Mission BBQ and Red Robin burger restaurant have opened their doors as well. Grocer Harris Teeter is under construction.
Five Below targets teens and pre-teens with trendy stuff priced from $1 to $5. The store sells fashion accessories, accessories for iPhones, Galaxys and tablets, video games, toys, arts and crafts and fitness equipment. And this time of year, it's promising plenty of Halloween decorations, costumes and candy.
For opening weekend, the store is giving away Five Below t-shirts, five-cent hot dogs and prizes, including a $100 Five Below shopping spree.
