Baltimore Free Store on June 18: Cheap Trick Thursday

Give a little, get a little on Saturday, June 18 at the next Baltimore Free Store event.

This time, the Baltimore Free Farm will host the Baltimore Free Store's collection and giveaway.

Stop by 3510 Ash Street, along the east side of Interstate 83 in Hampden, between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. to drop off donations.

Then, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. the Free Store will be open to browsers interested in perusing the free items.

Here's some of the history of the Baltimore Free Store, which promotes recycling and reuse to allieviate poverty, according to its Facebook page. The organization has operated out of storefronts before but it's now looking for a new location, according to the Free Store Facebook page.

According to the Indypendent Reader, anyone interested in volunteering Saturday should stop by at 9:30 a.m. The Free Farm plans to serve refreshments, which may include salad from its garden!
