As it turns out, BWI-Marshall Airport really does have all the right connections.
PCWorld looked at the 40 busiest U.S. airports and then ranked them based on the number and quality of tech amenities available.
The airport gets high marks for its USB ports, electrical outlets, WiFi service and cellular service. But it gets dinged as having the "worst" workspaces and charging stations.
That explains why it's tough to find a comfortable spot to pull out your laptop. But once you're settled, your WiFi connection will be among the fastest of any U.S. airport.
BWI's WiFi speeds were comparable to those at the no. 1 tech-friendly airport, Dallas/Fort Worth, and the no. 2 airport, New York's JFK. BWI also averages about six electrical outlets and 5 USB ports at each gate.
Nearby airports didn't ffare quite as well. Reagan National in Washington came in at no. 25 and Dulles International ranked at no. 37.
