Two winning Maryland Lottery tickets, each with a $250,000 prize, were drawn locally on Friday evening, lottery officials said Monday.

Lottery spokeswoman Erica L. Palmisano said the winning tickets were part of the second-tier Mega Millions contest. She said the winning tickets were purchased at two Baltimore City venues: Eutaw Market on Eutaw Street and Dolfield Fresh Food Market on Dolfield Avenue.
