Sinclair Broadcast Group has named
Scott Livingston the vice president of news for the
Hunt Valley television company.
In his new role, Livingston will oversee Sinclair's 41 stations that air local news.
Livingston spent 10 years as the news director of Sinclair's flagship station, WBFF-TV in Baltimore. He began his career with Sinclair in 1991, when WBFF began producing news. He was a chief photographer until 1997, when he was promoted to assistant news director.
Livingston began his television career at WBOC in his hometown of Salisbury.
Under his leadership, WBFF's news operation has won many awards, including local Emmys.
