New passenger lounge opens at BWI

Airport Lounge Development Inc. announced Wednesday that it has opened The Club BWI, a new passenger lounge at BWI Marshall Airport.

Located in Concourse D near Gate 10, the new lounge is open daily from 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. An alternative to members-only airport lounges, Club BWI is open to any traveler for a $40 daily fee. It's also open to members of Priority Pass, LoungeKey and Lounge Club.

It offers customers complimentary alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, snacks, Wi-Fi and reading materials. Spanning 2,200 square feet, the lounge can accommodate 50 people..

Club BWI is Airport Lounge Development's 16th location.

"We emphasize amenities that enrich the passenger experience," BWI CEO Ricky Smith said in a statement. "The Club BWI is a premier airport lounge that provides comfort and a high-level of service for our customers."
