A lot of folks love The Office, the sitcom.

But what about your office – do you love it, too? (Eccentrics and all?) Do you think it's among the best workplaces in the Baltimore area? More important, would you like The Baltimore Sun's readers to know about it?

The Sun this fall will publish a special report on the top places to work in and around Baltimore, as determined by company employees.

To do so, we need your help. Please nominate a company you think Sun readers should know about. Anyone can nominate a firm: a CEO, a customer, a summer intern. All kinds of companies are eligible: public and private, for-profit and nonprofit. Organizations must have at least 50 employees to qualify.

Participation is free and every organization that takes part will receive feedback on its workplace.

The deadline for nominations is July 22, 2011.

Employees of companies that elect to take part will be interviewed this summer by Workplace Dynamics LLC, which has conducted Top Workplace surveys for more than 25 major metropolitan newspapers and last year surveyed over 1 million employees nationwide. Employees will complete a quick, 24-statement survey.

To nominate a company, please go to baltimoresun.com/topworkplaces or call 410-779-9337.

Our top workplaces magazine will be published in December, with a special evening event for winners to be held Dec. 1.

We look forward to your nominations.
