Bay Bank announced a partnership Wednesday with Founders Financial Securities LLC to provide the regional bank's customers with financial management and investment services.

Towson-based Founders Financial will start working with the bank's investment unit, Bay Financial Services, on June 2.

"Providing investment services to our customers is a natural extension of our retail product line. Our customers have expressed an interest in these solutions and we are excited to bring these value added services to them," said Russ McAtee, Bay Bank's executive vice president and chief retail banking officer.

Columbia-based Bay Bank has nine branches in Baltimore and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford and Howard counties.

Founders Financial offers investment planning services including wealth management, investment management, tax deferred annuities, education planning, retirement planning, life insurance, tax reduction strategies, financial planning and long-term care insurance to individuals, families, business owners, foundations and nonprofits.
