Allegiant Air on Wednesday launched nonstop, seasonal flights between Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, the airline announced.
The flights — which start as low as $61 one-way — will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, until Sept. 2.
"We're very excited to announce new service to Destin today, adding a seventh nonstop destination to our service from Baltimore / Washington, D.C.," said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial. "We're happy to provide local travelers with the opportunity to conveniently get away to the Emerald Coast for less."
The new route is the Las Vegas-based airline's seventh nonstop destination from Baltimore. The airline also offers service to Asheville, N.C., Cincinnati, Knoxville, Tenn., Lexington, Ky., Savannah, Ga., and Tulsa, Okla.
