Cost of classic Thanksgiving dinner 2012 [Pictures]
The American Farm Bureau Federation has tracked the average cost of a classic Thanksgiving meal since 1986. The price of menu items increased less than 1 percent overall in 2012 from the previous year, bringing the total cost of a meal that would feed 10 people (with plenty for leftovers) to $49.48. The cost of a 30-ounce can of pumpkin pie mix went down 1 cent to $3.02 in 2012.
