Searchable database: Baltimore-area's highest-earning CEOs in 2010

The Baltimore Sun analyzed compensation packages at Baltimore-area companies that paid their CEOS at least $1 million last year. The compensation data -- reported by the companies in filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission -- covers salary, bonus, stock awards and other pay. Total compensation figures often include benefits that CEOs don't realize immediately, such as growth in retirement plans and the estimated value of stock options. Some pay figures differ from those disclosed in previous years because of changing SEC reporting rules.
