Items seized at BWI Marshall Airport [Pictures]
The Transportation Security Administration screened about 46 million airline passengers nationwide in February 2012. Last year, TSA officers collected more than 1,200 guns. In February alone they confiscated 101 firearms. And those aren't the only weapons seized. At BWI, items have included a cattle prod, a meat cleaver and a fearsome, double-edged weapon known as the "debrainer." Wrote TSA blogger Bob Burns: "Sometimes after reading the incident reports, it's as though they're having a gun and knife convention at the airport." Here's a look at some of the potentially lethal items discovered at BWI.
