Medwick Garth crime watch

Medwick Garth residents, from left, Scott Gainey, Missy Stevens and Ben Christian stand on their street. Recent reports of stolen cars and house break-ins in their neighborhood, which straddles the city-county line, prompted the group to start a neighborhood crime watch program that will have its first meeting Aug, 16. Christian, Stevens and Gainey are also leading the effort to reactivate the community association, which has been inactive since 1996.
