Teddy bear sleepover at the Govans library

Sherry Murphy, of Hampden, a grandmother, holds Thumper, an English, sawdust-stuffed teddy bear that she got as a Christmas gift when she was 3 years old. Thumper was among many stuffed animals whose owners, young and old alike, brought them to the Govans Library on June 25 for a "sleepover," and picked them up the next morning. Thumper won an award from the staff for being best at doing the newspaper crossword puzzle during the sleepover. And they have the picture to prove it.
