Maryland's Scott posts fastest time for RBs at combine

Maryland's Da'Rell Scott might have helped his late-round status by running the fastest time by a running back at this year's NFL combine.

Scott ran the 40-yard dash in 4.34 seconds, which beat out Auburn's Mario Fannin (4.38).At Maryland, he finished second on the team in rushing last season with 708 yards. But he was named Most Valuable Player of the Military Bowl where he ran for 200 yards on 13 carries.
