The Ravens' defensive backs had better be careful for today's meeting with the New Orleans Saints.
The game will be officiated by Walt Anderson's crew, the same one that called a total of nine pass interference penalties during last season's Ravens-Green Bay game.
Anderson oversaw the Ravens' season opener at the New York Jets, where the Ravens were called for five penalties. But the Jets only passed the ball 21 times that game. This season, Anderson's crew has called the fourth-fewest penalty yards per game (89.7). This group has also called the third-fewest pass interference penalties in the NFL in 2010 (a total of nine).
