Haruki Nakamura carried off

Six seconds into tonight's game, Haruki Nakamura suffered a broken right ankle and had to be carried off the field. Nakamura was injured on the opening kickoff when teammate L.J. Smith knocked Joshua Cribbs into Nakamura.

Nakamura immediately grabbed his lower right leg in obvious pain. Officials brought on a cart to take Nakamura off the field.

Nakamura, from Cleveland, had family in the stadium.
