So many Terps questions...

Maryland's opener against Cal could be compelling for a number of reasons:

*So much speed on the field on both sides.

*The debut of Don Brown's new defense. Doesn't this defense need a nickname? Perhaps something on the order of "Gasoline on Fire," which is what they called Loyola Marymount's fast break basketball offense under coach Paul Westhead many years ago.

*Maryland's youth makes the Terps unpredictable. This really is a hard game to call, although Cal will obviously be a tougher out than last season on its home turf.

Anybody want to wade in with some predictions? I'll start by predicting that Adrian Cannon will score a touchdown and Nick Ferrara will be the field goal kicker.
