Ravens taking it slow with Tyree

Ravens coach John Harbaugh was impressed by David Tyree's workout on Tuesday but he said the team will "take it slow at this time" with the free-agent wide receiver. There is a chance that the Ravens could sign Tyree next week.

Harbaugh has a history with Tyree, seeing him twice a year from 2003 to 2007 when both were in the NFC East. Tyree played for the New York Giants, and Harbaugh coached for the Philadelphia Eagles.

"He’s everything we thought he was," Harbaugh said Wednesday. "He got after the workout. He attacked the workout. And that’s the way he’s played all those years. We just got to make sure he’s 100 percent and ready to go and get some of the little things healed. We’ll take it slow at this time."

Tyree missed all of last season with a knee injury he sustained in training camp.
