The best thing about Anita Marks' interview with Chris McAlister today on 105.7 The Fan was that she got him to talk on the air so soon after being cut by the Ravens.
However, though there is nothing wrong with being respectful while conducting an interview, her tone was far too sympathetic. And a couple of times, her questions rambled on too long. Fans wanted to hear McAlister, not her.
Plus, if there was going to be a discussion on the air about McAlister's off-the-field issues -- as there was after the interview -- why not ask him more directly? That's not being disrespectful. There certainly is plenty of room between soft treatment and Jim Gray-like badgering.
