Baltimore's Open Walls Project [Pictures]

Gaia, a Maryland Institute College of Art graduate, has been living and breathing the Open Walls Baltimore Project, a series of public art projects covering everything from an abandoned fried chicken restaurant to a bustling parking garage to the sides of modest East Baltimore row homes. Open Walls Baltimore 2 is a series of at least 17 works that will appear on walls throughout Station North. The project is organized by the Station North Arts and Entertainment District, with major funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, the PNC Foundation and the European Union National Institutes for Culture.
