'Nobody kill anybody': Murder-free weekend urged in Baltimore

Shakespeare in the Ruins

Shakespeare in the Ruins chesapeakeshakespeare.com/pfi.html410-313-8661 The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company takes up residence at the Patapsco Female Institute each summer, bringing Shakespeare's plays to life amid the gorgeously dramatic ruins. This year, see "Antony & Cleopatra" June 7 through July 14, and "The Taming of the Shrew" June 21 through Aug. 4. Folding chairs provide outdoor seating, but audience members are also encouraged to bring blankets. Shows are 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, 6 p.m. on Sundays. The gates open 90 minutes before the show, so feel free to arrive early and enjoy a picnic on the property. On Friday nights, audience members can talk to the director, cast or special guests before the show; Sunday is Family Fun Day, with activities before the show specifically for young Shakespeare fans. Prices are $15 to $38, with free admission for children under 18, two children per paying adult.
