Baltimore Arts Realty Corporation (BARCO), a non-profit real estate developer has appointed Theo George as its Marketing and Communications Manager. In this role, George will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and managing all social media for BARCO's current projects in Baltimore -- Open Works (https://vimeo.com/143300038), one of the country's largest makerspaces and platform for shared access to tools, technologies, and knowledge; and Motor House (http://motorhousebaltimore.com), Baltimore's new arts hub in Station North. In addition, he will organize and manage all special events and promotional activities for BARCO.
Before joining BARCO, George was the Digital Strategist for the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE). There he led the digital engagement program and oversaw the organization's online properties including its website, blog, and all social media channels.
