Haitian earthquake survivor

A Haitian earthquake survivor receives medical treatment at the Hogar Vida y Esperanza foundation in Santo Domingo. Haitian survivors were transported to the Dominican Republic in the aftermath of the January 12 quake for medical treatment at the foundation. The foundation is still providing help to dozens of Haitian quake victims and it is demanding that the Haitian government be more involved with humanitarian efforts by helping to secure supplies for victims as well as speeding up the reconstruction of the country, according to local media.
