Land Preservation Veto

Sean Hough, chairman of Howard County Agricultural Land Preservation Board, announces his support of County Executive Ken Ulman's decision to veto the County Council's growth tier map. County farmers attended the event and held signs Thursday in opposition of senate bill 236, which limits the number of septic systems statewide by mapping future growth in tiers in order to preserve the Chesapeake Bay.
