Gregg Olson (1988-1993)

Olson arrived in Baltimore as a 21-year-old in 1988 and was named the American League Rookie of the Year in 1989 after going 5-2 with a 1.69 ERA and 27 saves. He made the All-Star team the following season and had three more productive seasons in Baltimore before becoming a baseball journeyman. With a solid fastball and strong curveball, Olson, named to the Orioles Hall of Fame in 2008, had five seasons with at least 27 saves in his Orioles career and ranks first on the franchise's all-time list with 160 saves.
