Tyler, the Creator took to Twitter late last night to quietly (weird for him, huh?) announce Odd Future's fall touring schedule. For Baltimore/D.C. fans of the much-maligned, much-beloved rap group, I have good news: OFWGKTA will play Sonar Oct. 24. (Sonar's website doesn't have the show listed but we'll take Tyler's word. He seems trustworthy.) If that sells out (and it likely will), you'll have a chance to see them in D.C. the night before at the 9:30 Club. Be prepared for the mosh.
Today, Pitchfork posted a recent video clip of the group doing "Sandwitches" at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, and it's worth checking out, if only to see hundreds of kids lose their collective s--t. Extra points to Tyler for stagediving with a bum leg. Love them or hate them (or if you're like me, selectively enjoy particular rappers of the crew more than others — what's up, Hodgy, Domo and of course Earl), simply ignoring them seems futile at this point.
