At the new Howard Community College Health Sciences building, students are taught a paramedics course featuring a makeshift ambulance in the middle of the classroom. Students in the class include Nick Frazier (center) and Cory Boone (right), who last month helped save the lives of two cardiac arrest patients during ambulance runs., They participate in class there with associate professor, Angel Burba, left, on the campus of HCC in Columbia, Maryland.
