Gwynn Oak Park

Gwynn Oak Park Sharon Langley, 11 months, keeps a firm grip on her thumb as she bobs up and down on the merry-go-round at Gywnn Oak Park, the first member of her race to ride at the amusement park. Her father, Charles Langley, holds her. Gywnn Oak Park, the scene of demonstrations, was opened to African-Americans for the first time on August 28, 1963.
