Jewelry designer Danielle deConge knows how to piece together a look. When we spotted her outside of Katwalk Boutique, the 23-year-old embodied fashion. Her 3.1 Philip Lim boots immediately caught our eyes. The boot's unique leather straps revealed a pair of turquoise tights that she got as a gift from her mother. Her James Jeans created a sleek, slim silhouette. Her silk blouse was purchased from a boutique in new York City. deConge, who described her style as "funky chic," purchased her multi-colored hand-painted silk Parisian scarf from Etsy.com. Her cream cocoon is part of the Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent collection, which she purchased at Gilt.com. Her vintage Enid Collins purse was a purchase from Ebay. deConge's jewelry was also eye-catching. She designed each piece herself. Her bracelet was a New York City Metro card she cast in silver. She added pearls to the end of silver cast toothpicks to create her earrings. She used the same silver cast process with a band-aid, in which she turned into a ring and for her corkscrew ring. "The key to great style is trying to shy away from trends and find pieces that you fall in love with," the Pikesville resident said.
