( Kim Hairston, Baltimore Sun / February 7, 2013 ) Robert Prettyman, Glen Burnie, is an Anne Arundel Community College student who won a $5000 Can U Scholarship competition. Prettyman, a recent graduate in environmental sciences and a current video production student, devised a storm water runoff plan to mitigate the erosion around the Resource Management building. The darker areas show some of the erosion. Prettyman's plan calls for a rain garden of native plants in this area. |
