Goat to be slaughtered

Women sit at a makeshift livestock slaughtering point in the village of Loboro Kenya. Nomads in Kenya's Turkana region have been reduced to sacrificing their animals to survive a bruising drought, with a dromedary or a cow bringing in 10,000 Kenyan shillings (100 euros) for its owner and a goat 800 shillings (8 euros).
