Everyone, you have to PHYSICALLY GO to the Enoch Pratt Library Downtown Branch to get articles before 1990. If not, then the only other place would be to go directly to the Baltimore Sun company itself, either PHYSICALLY or by phone call to make an appointment. You can also perhaps try some of the local college libraries like UMBC, Towson, or even Loyola/Notre Dame's library. You may find something on microfische or it may have been digitized by now. I used to do family history research through all of the local newspapers at the Pratt Library, so I KNOW that the Sun articles are there. If you're unable to locate it yourself, just ask a Librarian. The Sun didn't even START putting articles online til 1990 and since they've been around for more than a CENTURY, then it's literally impossible for every document to be put online. Sometimes, we just have to leave the comforts of our own home, go to the library, and ACTUALLY get our HANDS DIRTY! WEE-HEE! Watch out for the dusty books! Ahhhh Technology...ye have seduced us all...
