It almost destroyed an entire family and had ripple effects that are still present. Gilchrest has responded to us and admitted they made mistakes, but they won't take responsiblility for the situation. My husband is an Er Physician at Hopkins Bayview and also a boarded internist. He thinks they were grossly neglegent.
BG&E took a hit during recent storms and is now crying poverty. As a result, they want to pass that expense along to their customers, saying it wasn't their fault. No kidding! But it wasn't your customer's fault either, so why should they have to bail you out? BG&E's stockholders and bottom line should take the hit on this one. Stockholders understand that buying stock in a company carry's a certain "risk" and this is one of those times. Sometimes you make big bucks and sometimes you suffer a loss. If BG&E is allowed to pass this expense along to its customers, this will be a glaring example of why people, across the country, are protesting in the streets right now.
The Baltimore Sun reported that The Mayor’s budget proposal included no tax increases but does create a “fee”on bulk trash pickup. This statement misrepresents the truth. A “fee” is a tax because it takes from tax payers.
