Deutsch was named a Salute to Freedom award winner after qualifying for the National History Day Contest in 2012. One winner was selected from each state. The awards are given out by the National World War II Museum and included a trip to the museum to visit the new U.S. Freedom Pavillion: The Boeing Center during the grand opening. |
